Piano Tiles

How to play

Tiles fall down four lanes. Tap a lane as its tile crosses the glowing line — every tile you catch plays a note on a sampled grand piano, so a clean run is the song.

Controls

• D F J K — the four lanes, left to right
• 1 2 3 4 also work
• On a phone or tablet, just tap the lane column.

Timing

• Perfect within 55 ms · Great 110 ms · Good 175 ms
• Past that the note is lost. Tapping an empty lane also costs accuracy — so don't mash.

Stars

• 3 stars at 95% accuracy · 2 stars at 85% · 1 star at 70%
• Your best result is saved for every song.

Lanes follow the melody

Low notes fall on the left, high notes on the right — the shape of the tune is the shape of the tiles. The keyboard strip under the hit line shows which key is sounding.

Practice mode

The Practice chip in the song list plays a tune at 70% speed with note names on, and doesn't affect your records.
